i lived in panglao island for two years.   panglao has many beach resorts like bohol beach club, eskaya beach resort and spa, bohol plaza, and many others also famous for its powdery white sand and clear blue ocean.

what I really enjoyed doing during that two years stay was to have a boat ride as far as the diving dropoff where you can see the white sand and the pitch dark deep meet.  it's where you see schools of fish, small sharks which the local folks call ihoy and my favorite, dolphins at play!!

loboc river bank

there's a place tourists should never miss when visiting bohol:  loboc river.  there are lots of other places too but there's just not too many river cruises available on this island or in the philippines for that matter.
