whites and greens beach resort

Bohol tourists, both foreign and local, flock to beach resorts of Panglao Island when they need to unwind.  Some of them would want a busy, noisy beach resorts like those along Alona strip and the rest prefer peaceful and quiet place like the Whites and Greens Beach Resort.

Aptly called the Whites and Greens Beach Resort, this place has indeed white sand and has green  foliage  all over.

An old song goes like this:
I know a place
where no one else knows
there's peace and quiet

boat ride, anyone?

It was really a memorable boat ride.  We planned on this trip but didn't make it to the island of Balicasag (famous for its white sandy beach and also for snorkelling,scuba diving and whale watching). Our motorized outrigger stopped somewhere at the middle where the water was pitch black and our boatman Jojo couldn't make the motor start again! So we had to paddle back to the main island Panglao, laughing most of the time because it was really funny looking at my friends paddling with plates!  Luckily, we made it to the place where we started safely and that's when I took this photo.

this cozy setting can be found in many places when you're on this island.  bohol still has the natural beauty and i'm quite proud to be living in such a place where you still see trees where they should be..

it was hot at 9:00 am and too bright to take photos...but it didn't stop me...i took a lot of shots anyway and as expected, many were overexposed. this photo is one of those that came out just fine..well, for me anyway...
